I’m Wilber Reid, an author of non-fiction. Currently, I have two books available to be purchased here on my website: ‘My Jamaican Experience’ (a book looking at my life in Jamaica and the various roles I held both within my community and within my profession) and ‘Why Do Humans Worship God?’ (a book in which I explore current religious practices alongside European atrocities relating to religion). Both of my books relate, in some way, large or small, to my life. Whether it’s the experiences I had living in Jamaica or the lens through which I view religion, my books are, naturally, a piece of me. And I often think that this is why past readers have found my work to be interesting because after all, aren’t we all drawn to other people’s points of view and experiences as a way of expanding our own? Many readers are already enjoying my books, so I started booksbywilberforcereid as a way of showcasing my work and keeping my readers up to date with any future books I may release. I’m also hoping that my website will help put my work in the hands of people who enjoy learning about subjects relating to religion, history, and culture.
